Performance: Using this plugin, you can easily and quickly model designs, and classic and inlay-like tools. The functional basis of this plugin is based on the preset brushes for the plugin or the shapes introduced by us as the cross-section of the volume formed by the plugin on the skins or walls of a volume by dragging the mouse or paint.

Note 1: The volume or initial shell of any modeling structure does not differ from mesh edit to poly edit.

Note 2: The modeled volume in terms of smoothness and smoothness is a function of the polys and the smoothness of the volume of the base painted on it.

Note 3: The modeled volumes are of editable mesh type.

How to install and run: First, you need to drag a file in MS format called PolyDetailinstaller into the Mac viewport to perform the installation operation, or call and install this file using the Run Script option from the script menu, then from inside the folder called data which Along with the other two folders, you must follow the rest of the steps in the following order along with the copy. Let's do a track.

First, we copy a file named PolyDetailV2_nonmacro from the folder called script to the address below, which was created after the initial installation.

C:\Users\computer name\Documents\3dsMax\scenes\PolyDetail\script


Then, from a folder called ObjectLibrary, copy and paste all the files inside it, which are in Max format, from the address below.

Then, from the address below, we create the plugin tool by dragging it on the toolbar.

Address: Customize menu / customize use interface option / toolbars header / polydetail category which is marked with red color in the image below.

Note 1: The Max files inside the second folder are the same volume and two-dimensional brushes as the default plug-in.

We explain the script options in brief for having a complete training video and test for each option.
start. stop drawing:


Start modeling drawings and be ready to place the brush. Stopping the drawing operation and switching the mouse from brush mode on Max tools such as movement and rotation or any other tool to control the scene and built models.

angle. twist. bulge. size. smooth stroke:


  Determining the parameters of the angle, twist, and bulge (inflating the volume in terms of modeling) and size and softness of the brush.

Turbosmooth:

It has two parameters that increase the segments and polys of the source volume - the source page or classical drawing tools. If we select and activate the basic volume, it will be added to the basic volume. If we select the built-in tools after drawing to the tool is added.

symmetry:

Correlation of built models in coordinate directions determined simultaneously.

pick a custom path:

If we have a two-dimensional line or surface, we can introduce it to the plugin as a path line, so that it can be formed as a volume on the introduced path line based on the selected brush from the list mentioned below. Exactly the same as introducing a cross section on the track line.

attach selected objects:

To attach the formed volumes together, it is enough to select them and then click on this tool. Of course, it should be said that other volumes in the scene can also be involved in this attachment.

create a drawing canvas:

Creating an initial base plate to apply the models being built on it.

Draw object:

Determining one of the primary two modes of drawings based on the default two-dimensional surface or cross-section or drawings based on the default volume.

add selected as new shapes:

Introducing a cross section to the plugin for use in new drawings.

It is enough to draw the desired cross-section and click on this tool to add it to the list, or draw the cross-section in a separate file and copy it to the file given in the installation address where the brushes are placed. Note that the cross section must be in the center of the scene, i.e. point 0.0.
